These pages have been very popular and useful for a lot of people,
so while Avid has finally made it easier to go from the Media Composer
out to ProTools and AudioVision, I still feel like it will be helpful to
maintain this area a while longer.

In addition, after doing this a while, we've developed certain sure-fire ways
of working.  From now on, I will document the way we work and use those
procedures as my recommendation.
I will not create a how-to for each possible export scenario.

This means these pages for 7.x will describe going to Audio Post using
the method of keeping the audio media separate from the OMFI file.*

* these how-tos do not currently go into depth about transferring
digitized video to AudioVision via OMFI.
