How to Get to Avid with a Matte from After Effects

After you import your clips, edit them into your Avid like above. Put your Alpha movie on Video Track 3, your RGB clip on Video Track 2 (this clip will look really jaggy and awful by itself if you used the Straight Color option in After Effects, this is fine). On Video Track 1 put the background that goes behind your animation. Continue by pressing the PLAY button above.
